GMEINER (Maggie) Genevieve Margaret

born Maggie G on 6 May 1902 in Monterey, Putnam county, Ohio to Gebhard Bernard and Anna (GARDE) GMEINER. Appeared in the Educational Club in The Mountaineer" (yearbook) at Eastern Oregon Normal School in 1930. She taught in public and Catholic elementary schools around Spokane. By 1931, she lived on Star Rte, Kelso WA.
Married Theodore Vernon BYERS (1912-1978). Maggie died on Veterans Day 1992, buried in Trentwood WA.

Born 1 Apr 1903 in Minnesota to James W & Katherine C (McDERMOTT) McINTYRE. In 1910, the family lived in Stillwater MN.
In 1920, the family lived in the Elite Hotel, Cd'A, and comprised James W, 38 CAN, laborer, immig 1884, papers filed 1919; Katherine C, wife, 36 WI; Audree F, son, 16 MN; Katherine H '23, dau,14 MN.
Audree married on 17 Oct 1925 at Spokane to Esther A BIGGAR, 19, born 27 Dec 1905 in Idaho to Samuel BIGGAR (Ohio) and Anna BLOOMBERG (? MN). See BIGGAR family in Bonners Ferry, 1910.
In 1930, James and Katherine lived at 1306 7th St, Cd'A, with daughter Katherine H '23 and her husband, Sheldon McMILLAN '10. Audree is a creamery bookkeeper, married 5 years (to Esther A BIGGAR, 24 ID) with a son, James C, age 3, and living 710 N 6th, in Sandpoint (owns home). His grandmother, Mary McINTYRE, 68 CAN, is also in the household. see census record.
In 1935 & 1940, Audree and Esther (and son Jimmie) live/own at 605 S Naches, Yakima, where they own and manage a creamery. see census record.
Katherine C, born 4 Apr 1883 WI, died 21 Aug 1951 at Cd'A. James W, born c1880, died in early Oct 1956. Both are buried in St Thomas cemetery.
Audree died 28 Oct 1993 in Yakima WA. Esther died there in May 1996. They both, and her parents, are buried in Terrace Heights Memorial Park, Yakima.

MOREHOUSE Marie Elaine Agnes

Born 18 Dec 1902 in Montana to Henry Louis & Marie Nina (PICCHE) MOREHOUSE. Became a teacher in Cd'A, then married 20 Aug 1927 at Spokane to Russell Leroy NEAL (1894-1991). They moved to Missoula, where she died 24 July 1990.
Confusingly, the 1910 census of Berkeley CA shows Henry and Nina, with the right ages and places of birth, showing 2 births and 0 living children. Elaine listed these parents on her marriage certificate. She is not listed on the 1910 census of Academy boarding students.

Non graduate; boarder. Sister of Artie '23 ROBIRTS. Born 29 Feb 1904 at Tekoa, Whitman, Washington to Josiah Jefferson & Lucy May (SCOTT) ROBIRTS. Anne married Hugh Benajah RIDGWAY in Spokane on 4 Nov 1925, and died 28 Feb 1928 in Butte MT.

Nora Josephina was born 26 Sept 1902 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to Charles and Eleanor (BREUHER) RONDEAU. Sister of Mildred'31RONDEAU. Sister-in-law of Viola GRISMER '32. Aunt of John '56 RONDEAU who only attended 7th & 8th grades (1950-52), and Joan'55 RONDEAU.
In 1910, the family lived on Davidson Ave, Cd'A, and comprised: Charles, 29 WI (parents b French Canada), harnessmaker, married 9 years; Eleanor, 27 WI, (fa b Germany, Mo b WI), 5 births / 4 living; Nora J, 7 WI; Charles, 5 WI; Lauretta, 2 ID; and Mary, 10mo ID. --21 Apr 1910 Cd'A, ED174 p8A
Charles P RONDEAU, born 20 Aug 1880, registered for the draft on 12 Sep 1918. He was a harnessmaker for the Rutledge Timber Co in Clarkia, Shoshone county; lived with wife Ella in Cd'A; he is classified as short and stout, with brown eyes and black hair.
In 1920, the family owned and farmed in French Gulch, and comprised: Charles B RONDEAU, 39 WI (parents b CAN), farmer; Eleanor, 36 WI (parents b GER, WI); Nora '21, age 17 WI; Charles Jr, 14 WI, not in school; Loretta, 12 ID; Mary, 10 ID; Mildred'31, age 8 ID; Alice, 22mo ID. In 1930 and 1935, Nora A was a public school teacher in Genesee ID, age 27, single, boarding at a rooming house on Church St with 4 other young teachers. --4 Apr 1930 Latah Co ID ED17 p3A Loretta, 21, was a servant in the home of Claude and Ruth NASH and 5 children, at 1009 N 4th St, Cd'A. --2 Apr 1930 Cd'A, ED15 p1A Mildred '31 is a student and roomer in the Philip and Debora McMANAMIN family at 805 Sherman. --15 Apr 1930 Cd'A, ED11 p14B & 4A Eleanor, 47, married 24 years, was the household head, living on the farm in French Gulch with Mary 20 and Alice 12, no mention of husband Charles. --3 Apr 1930 Kootenai pct, ED34 p1A Charles Jr, 25, single, sawmill laborer, lived at 518 Harrison Ave, next door to Kenneth BROOTEN, 19 MN, (1910-1958) sawmill laborer and father of Kenneth '60, Barbara '62, Bernadette '69, and Kent '74 BROOTEN.
In 1940, Nora A lived with her mother and sister Alice, at 1402 Nora Ave, Cd'A. Nora worked as Junior Interviewer for a government agency.
Nora married on 3 Feb 1947 at St Stan's, Lewiston, to Carl Alois REISENAUER (1897-1995). They both died in Colton, Whitman Co, Washington, and are buried there.
Charles P RONDEAU died 4 Sep 1950. Eleanore F, b 29 Jan 1883 WI, died 13 Jun 1970 in Yakima WA. Charles Jr, b 20 Feb 1905 WI, died 29 Jan 1972 at Cd'A. Charles Jr married Viola GRISMER '32. Alice F, born 14 Mar 1918, died 6 May 1986 Cd'A. All are buried in St Thomas cemetery.
