By 1938, they lived in Spokane. In 1940, they rented at 5411 Martin, Spokane, with children Grace E 9, Adrian E 7 (both b ID), and Henry C, 2 WA. Marvin was a lumberjack.

Mildred's sister, Mabel Lena ROBIRTS, b 27 May 1903, married Michael HONIG (1901-1921), and died 24 Apr 1997 in Paradise, Butte Co CA. In 1930, she was a widow, age 26, with a daughter, Dorothy Doris, age 2 MT (parents b Austria & ID), living as a housekeeper for a 40-year old single dairy farmer in Orting, Pierce, WA. --19 Apr 1930 ED64 p2A. Mr HONIG, b 15 Jan 1901 (in Austria?), died 12 Jul 1929 at Bovill, Latah, ID. He is probably a son of Michael & Magdalena HONIG, who emigrated from Hungary in 1910, and lived in Inverness, Hill MT in 1920.
