born 13 Feb 1898 in Minnesota. Died 17 Apr 1994 in Santa Clara County, California. Buried (with son Thomas 1933-1993) in St Thomas cemetery with her parents.
Selina married Richard B MAHER, an accountant/editor, in the 1920's, and had son Charles Richard MAHER on 20 Dec 1928 in San Francisco. They lived in Cd'A in the 1930's & 40's, and in San Jose in the 1950's-1970's. Richard, born 19 Jul 1904 in Oregon, died 11 Mar 1977 in Palo Alto CA. more CHAINEY family information.

He is also listed as a boarder and laborer in Cd'A on 2 Feb 1920, ED217, p14A.
In 1930, Selina was married, and living in Oakland CA with her newspaper-editor husband, son Charles, her brother Edward, and niece Monica BOUCHET.
Brother Ernest W is in Idaho Falls in 1920, living at the rectory with Fr Thomas PURCELL. By 1930, he has married Hortense CARTIER, and has sons Eugene L and Phillip J. —1930 Idaho Falls ED13 p8B. By the 1940's, they lived in Oakland CA.
In 1940, Celina, Richard, and sons Charles & Thomas lived at 905 N 8th St, Cd'A. Her brother Edward and wife, Gwendolyn (HARROLD), with son William J, age 7, lived in Oakland CA.

Born 30 May 1897 WI to William J (1871 CAN-1951 WA) and Josephine (ORTHMAN, 1874 WI - ) DAWSON. Brother of Royal '18 DAWSON. Josephine is the daughter of Nicholas and Lena (--) ORTHMAN, and lived with her family in Chippewa Falls WI in 1880.
In 1900, the family lived in Chippewa Falls WI. W J, born July 1871 in Canada, parents b Canada, has a mortgage on the home at 424 River(?) St, and is a laborer in a mill, unemployed 2 months. He immigrated 1885, is naturalized US citizen. Josephine, born Aug 1875 WI, parents b GER (father) & IL (mother), has been married 4 years, 1 birth. He is a veteran of WW1, has a radio, is employed as a bookkeeper for a plumbing company, and reports both parents b in Wisconsin. Gertrude, 31 ID, reports parents b IL (father) & GA. children, all born ID, are: George, 6; Kathrine A '43, 4y3mo; Earl, 2y6mo; & Mary '47, newborn. —9 Apr 1930 Cd'A ward 2, ED11 p7A [29].
In 1930, William & Josephine lived in Lewiston, where he was superintendent of a planing mill. They owned 1120 9th St (value $5k), and had a radio. William J DAWSON, 80, died 4 Aug 1951 at Clarkston WA. Josephine, 73, died 18 Feb 1949 at Asotin WA.
Earl and Gertrude are the parents of William '51 & Joseph '59 DAWSON. Their oldest son, George, became a Redemptorist priest, and died 26 May 2007. Their son Bill '51 died in 2005 at Olympia.

On 27 May 1924, Helen married at Spokane to Gerald Engilbert YOUNG.
In 1930, Helen and husband Gerald E YOUNG (paper salesman) were living in Oakland CA, with two daughters (Mary 5, Helen Patricia 3) and Helen's parents, both 56.

In 1930, the family lived at 816 Indiana, and comprised James 70, Annie 62, Elizabeth '20 (age 29), and Aurelia '23 JOHNSON. Both girls were stenographers in an attorney's office.
In 1940, the family lived at 816 Indiana, and comprised James 81, Annie 72, and Elizabeth '20 (age 41) JOHNSON.

Born 15 March 1898 at home (214 Riverside) in Spokane to John P and Anna S (BLESSING) KILDEA, who married 22 June 1892 in Spokane.
In 1900, the John KILDEA family was renting 307 3rd Ave, Spokane, and comprised John P (b Mar 1860 Canada (parents b Ireland), immigrated 1880/87, naturalized; saloon keeper, ; and Anna S (BLESSING), b Dec 1868 MN (parents b Germany), married 8 years, 3 births, 2 living; children: Joseph A, b Dec 1895 WA, and Agnes M, b Mar 1898 WA. (An older child was Joseph Thomas KILDEA, born 21 Sep 1894, died of tuberculosis on 6 Sep 1901.) In 1910, Agnes was a resident (boarding) student at the Academy. Her father is in Spokane, age 48, widowed, working as a miner, living at the Empire Hotel. I was unable to find her mother or brother.
In 1916, Agnes lived in Cd'A, with Mrs Theresa M (KILDEA) GRAHAM (widow of Capt. James) on E Lakeshore Drive (home assessed value, $75K in 1916). — City Directory. Theresa was a daughter of Patrick & Maria (CROWDER) KILDEA, and thus probably a cousin of Agnes.
In 1920, Agnes, 21 CAN, was living at the Academy, working as a stenographer. Family not found.
In 1927, Agnes was a stenographer at Cascade Lumber, in Yakima. --city directory. By 1934 & 1936, she was a steno in Los Angeles (KILDEA) --voter records. In 1935 and 1940, she reportedly lived in Inglewood with husband, Theodore Elmer DICKEY (1902-1945). Theodore was married 25 Aug 1938 at Phoenix AZ to Agnes M STEPHENS, so perhaps Agnes was previously married. Agnes died 3 Dec 1971.
